SIMI VALLEY, CA - Mortgage Corp. of America, a leading residential lender, is expanding within Simi Valley, CA with the announcement that the company has paid $2.4 million to acquire a recently renovated, 17,000 sq. ft. office building in this community for its headquarters, reports Westcord Commercial Real Estate Services.
Jim Darin of Westlake Village, CA-based Westcord, said M.C.A. acquired the single-story, multi-tenant office structure at 4242-4277 Valley Fair St., Simi Valley. The buyer will occupy the entire building, he said.
Darin represented M.C.A. in the transaction. Dan Powers and Leslie Ortman of Sperry Van Ness represented Adam and Susan Hettich, the sellers.
According to its web site, M.C.A. has a "reputation for delivering attractive loans at reduced fees". The site adds that the company stresses closing on time and closing over 98 percent of all loan applications taken.
