VAN NUYS, CA --
Rent A Wheel, a leader in the growing rent-to-own tire and wheel sector, has leased a
10,225 sq. ft. industrial facility in Van Nuys, CA for relocation of its headquarters and
warehousing activities from Glendale, CA, announces Westcord Commercial Real Estate
Services.
Rent A Wheel initiated
occupancy of its new facilities this month (Dec.) at 13745 Saticoy St. Joe Lopez in
Westcord's Westlake Village, CA office represented both Rent A Wheel and Sycamore
Investment, Inc., of Santa Monica, the property owner. Consideration for the
five-year lease was $500,000. John Bowlin, president of Rent A Wheel, said there is a
groundswell of interest among consumers to make low weekly payments for tires and wheels,
leading toward ownership after one year.
The new headquarters for
Rent A Wheel is a concrete tilt-up structure within easy access of the San Diego (405)
Freeway. Building features include 2000 sq. ft. of office space, dock high loading,
gated security, ample on-site parking, and 21-foot warehouse clear height.
