WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA - - Heathcote and Associates Architects, a firm
with a
22-year history in Westlake Village whose projects are recognized
throughout Conejo
Valley and Ventura County, has leased 9000 sq. ft. of office space in
Westlake Village,
CA for over a 100 percent expansion in that community, announces
Westcord Commercial Real Estate Services.
Tony Principe, executive vice president of Westlake Village-based
Westcord, reports that Heathcote and Associates plans a December
occupancy of its new headquarters located at 3396 Willow Lane, Westlake
Village.
Principe represented James Mitchell, the property owner. Jack

Capital Commercial represented Heathcote and Associates. The five-year
lease is
valued at over $1 million.
"We needed to increase our staff area to accommodate a growing
number of
projects," said Gary Heathcote, principal of the firm bearing his
name. He said up to 20 people would be employed at the site.
Established in 1982 in Westlake Village, Heathcote and Associates
has provided its services to a variety of recognizable commercial
projects, according to the company's website, www.heathcote.net.
The company recently completed the Warner Pacific office building
on Agoura
Road in Westlake Village, a 15,000 sq. ft., two-story structure for
owner John Nelson of Warner Pacific Insurance Services. The new
building was unified, based on Heathcote's design, with an existing
11,000 sq. ft. office building that was remodeled.
Another Heathcote and Associates project is a 33,000 sq. ft.
manufacturing facility
currently underway in Oxnard, CA for Harwil Corp, a manufacturer of flow
devices for piping.
