CANOGA PARK,
CA -- Holmes Body Shop will occupy the majority of space in a 24,000 sq. ft.
automotive center in Canoga Park, CA, concurrent with the property's acquisition by local
investors. Holmes will expand from its former location at Ogner Motors in Woodland
Hills, CA, announces Westcord Commercial Real Estate Services.
Joe Lopez, president of Van
Nuys, CA-based Westcord, reports that Deering Properties LLC, which is 50 percent owned by
principals of Holmes Body Shop, acquired the property comprising 1.5 acres at 7358-7424
Deering Ave., Canoga Park, for an undisclosed amount. Lopez and Ted Roberts of Westcord
represented both the buyers and Rosco Enterprise of Van Nuys, the seller.
Holmes Body Shop plans a
first quarter, 2001 occupancy of its new facilities following tenant improvements valued
at over $500,000, Lopez said. He explained that Holmes will occupy 15,000 sq. ft. of
the Deering property. Two other tenants already occupy an additional 4,700 sq. ft.,
leaving approximately 2,150 sq. ft. for lease.
