WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA - A 25,800 square foot industrial building in Camarillo, CA acquired late last summer by West Los Angeles investors has already been leased to prominent Merex, Inc., announces Westcord Commercial Real Estate Services.
Joe Lopez of Westlake Village, CA-based Westcord reports that the Klein Family Trust acquired the building at 853 Via Alondra for $2.5 million in August from Del Car Properties. Lopez represented both parties in that transaction.
More recently, Merex inked a five-year lease for the building valued at approximately $1.3 million and has begun occupying the warehouse portion of the facility, said Tony Principe, president of Westcord, who represented Merex in the lease. Lopez also represented the Klein Family Trust in the lease.
Principe said Merex intends to upgrade the building and relocate administrative activities from its nearby Newbury Park headquarters during the next several months.
