VENTURA, CA -- Construction of a new "high-tech"
styled retail center, combining a rare blend of fast food and light automotive business,
is now underway adjacent to the strategic corner of Telephone Rd. and Market St. in
Ventura, CA. Over 75 percent of the space has already been leased, announces
Westcord Commercial Real Estate Services.
Joe Lopez, a retail/automotive real estate specialist for Westlake Village-based Westcord,
reports that Texaco Express has inked a 10-year lease for 3320 sq. ft. of space at the
center. Additionally, Subway Sandwich Shops has leased another 1400 sq. ft. of
space for a 64-seat restaurant.
This project is a development of F Squared Development, a local Ventura company. The
two principals, Bill Fox and Marc Foreman, stated that the "Subway Express
Center" will be comprised of 7150 sq. ft. of mixed-use space featuring a four lane
oil change facility with the two highly desirable restaurant spaces. Currently a
1450 sq. ft. retail suite is available bordering the Subway store.
Lopez added that Foreman and Fox are finalizing plans for a 5300 sq. ft. state-of the-art
retail/automotive installation building on this site.
