THOUSAND OAKS, CA
-- Various departments of the behavioral health division of Ventura County (CA)
in Thousand Oaks, CA will be consolidated under one roof following the county's inking of
a lease for an entire 21,000 sq. ft. office building in that community, announces Westcord
Commercial Real Estate Services.
Tony Principe, executive
vice president of Westlake Village, CA-based Westcord, reports that the county plans a
mid-March occupancy of the two-story building located at 72 Moody Court.
Approximately 80 people will be employed at the site that will consolidate activities from
several other Thousand Oaks locations for the county.
Tony and Rick Principe,
president of Westcord, represented Newbury Partners, the property owner. CB Richard
Ellis represented the county. The seven year lease is valued at $3.5 million.
Newbury Partners reports
that it plans to initiate significant renovation at the property concurrent with the new
occupancy. 72 Moody Court is a wood frame and stucco structure that reflects the
architectural motif of the surrounding neighborhood. The building features ample
on-site, street level parking, and generous landscaping.
