OXNARD, CA
-- A Thousand Oaks, CA investment group has paid $4.2 million to acquire Trolley Plaza, a
fully occupied 36,000 sq. ft. community shopping center in Oxnard, CA, announces Westcord
Commercial Real Estate Services.
Joe Lopez, a veteran retail
and automotive real estate specialist for Westlake Village, CA-based Westcord, reports
that RCD Holdings purchased the center, located on some two acres at 401-481 S. Ventura
Blvd., from Double High Financial of Woodland Hills, CA, the center's developer. Lopez
represented the sellers. Darryl Zilberstein of Westcord represented the buyers.
Trolley Plaza is home to
one of the Salvation Army's largest retail outlets, plus a McDonald's restaurant which
occupies a free-standing parcel. The nine-year-old center features inviting Early
California architecture with generous on-site parking. The new owners plan to
initiate minor renovations to the center, including re-doing the parking lot and
repainting the structures.
Westcord is one of the Los
Angeles area's top 25 commercial real estate companies with offices in Westlake Village,
CA, and Van Nuys, CA. |
