ENCINO, CA --
PUREBEAUTY, a fast-growing nationwide specialty retailer of salon-quality beauty products
and services with aims of establishing a national chain of merchandise-focused salons, has
leased 8217 square feet of office space in The Almar Building in Encino, CA for its
corporate headquarters, announces Westcord Commercial Real Estate Services.
PUREBEAUTY officials said
they plan to occupy their new headquarters at 16030 Ventura Blvd. during April.
Approximately 20 people will be employed at the site. PUREBEAUTY will relocate from
West Los Angeles. Patti Kutschko of Westcord represented PUREBEAUTY in the six-year lease
valued at $ 1.5 million. Charles Dunn Company represented Golden Enterprises, the
landlord.
Formed in January, 1999,
PUREBEAUTY plans a chain of salons catering to upscale, fashion-oriented consumers that
are characterized by high quality, branded environments.
Each PUREBEAUTY store offers a wide range of beauty products, from hair care products to
skin treatments, as well as featuring a full-service beauty and nail salon.
PUREBEAUTY's chain already
comprises 40 operating stores, of which 29 have been acquired and seven have been
built-out by the company. The company intends to grow its base of stores to over 200
by year-end 2001.
