NEWBURY
PARK, CA -- Principals of Independent Resource Systems, Inc. have acquired a
fully leased 20,000 sq. ft. office building in Newbury Park, CA as an investment for $2.1
million with plans to occupy a portion of the building during the second half of this
year, announces Westcord Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc.
Tony Principe, executive
vice president of Westlake Village, CA-based Westcord, reports that the buyers purchased
the property located at 1000 Business Center Circle. Principe represented Independent
Resource Systems. The seller was a Conejo Valley partnership.
Independent Resource
Systems, Inc., a high technology recruiting firm, plans to occupy approximately 5500 sq.
ft. of the building for relocation from nearby Agoura, Principe said. Concurrently,
Principe has been hired by Independent Resource Systems, Inc. to sell the company's
two-story office building which it currently occupies at 28222 Agoura Rd. Asking
price for the fully leased building is $1.69 million. Upon the relocation by Independent
Resource Systems, Inc., space in the Agoura building will be available for as much as 3200
sq. ft. to as little as 1500 sq. ft.
