WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA -- In what company officials say
establishes it as the largest commercial real estate firm headquartered in Ventura County,
CA (based on number of agents) while bolstering its outreach in the region's office
sector, Westcord Commercial Real Estate Services announces that leading area office
brokers Marc Riches and Cory J. Richmond have joined the firm as office leasing
specialists.
Tony Principe, executive vice president of
Westlake Village-based Westcord, emphasized that Riches and Richmond, who have "been
highly successful" working as an office brokerage team, bring approximately 650,000
sq. ft. of office listings to Westcord.
"We are delighted to
bring both Marc and Cory aboard. In doing so, we not only expand our marketing team
to 17 brokers, but afford our company additional synergy and outreach to clients
throughout Ventura County. Cory and Marc control a portfolio of high profile office
properties in Conejo and Simi Valleys, enabling us to better serve the numerous clients
desiring to relocate or expand in this region," said Principe. "This move
also provides us the resources to gain new office projects."
Riches and Richmond come to
Westcord after having both served for NAI Capital Commercial since 1999 and 1997,
respectively. As a team they have focused on landlord and tenant
representation with regard to office properties in a region stretching from Calabasas to
Simi Valley. Riches is also expanding his services in office investments.

Riches, 34, is a graduate
of the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
communications. He and his wife, Melissa, and their daughter, Megan, 19 months,
reside in Westlake Village.
Richmond, also 34, has been
a Ventura County resident for approximately 27 years and resides in Simi Valley. He
is a graduate of the University of San Francisco where he earned a Bachelor of Science
degree in Business Administration-Accounting.
